Santa Eulàlia des Riu is a coastal town on the south eastern seaboard of the island of Ibiza. These include numerous, beautiful beaches, green fields dotted by almond trees, and a rich artistic and monumental heritage, that includes a bridge and the remains of a Roman necropolis; a fortified church from the 16th century, which sits on top of Puig de Missa; and its museums, such as the Ethnological Museum of Pitiüses, and the Museum of Barrau, which exhibits objects and works by impressionist painter Laureá Barrau.
