1° GIORNO: Transfert APT SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA –SARRIA (100 km)

Sarria, costruita da Alfonso IX, apparteneva al Marchesato di Lemos, è il luogo dove inizia il pellegrinaggio nel suo ultimo tratto di 100 km prima di raggiungere Santiago de Compostela. E’ una tappa necessaria affinché i Pellegrini ottengano la “COMPOSTELA”, il certificato del Pellegrinaggio a Santiago de Compostela. 


2° GIORNO: SARRIA – PORTOMARIN (23 km)

Partenza al mattino, a piedi, verso il Ponte Medievale di Aspera, caratterizzato dai suoi 4 archi. Attraversando i villaggi di Peruscallo e Cortiñas, vedremo durante il cammino diversi “Horreos”, costruzioni in pietra e legno, a pianta rettangolare, la cui funzione era quella di conserva re le provviste di grano e cereali. Continueremo fino al fiume Miño, per arrivare a Barbadelo, antico insediamento celtico. Prima di arrivare a Portomarin, attraverseremo Mirallos, Pena, Moimentos, Mercadoiro e Parrocha, con i tipici “caserios” e “aldeas ganaderas” (villaggi contadini dediti all’allevamento), ubicati lungo la Valle del Miño, e vedremo anche il Monastero-Chiesa di Santa Maria de Loio, culla dell’Ordine di Santiago. Entreremo a Portomarin attraverso il Viadotto parallelo al ponte Romano dove inizia il villaggio. 


3° GIORNO: PORTOMARIN – PALAS DO REI (24 Km)

Al mattino partenza a piedi, attraverso il Ponte che attraversa la Diga di Belesar. Superando il villaggio di Gonzar, il Cammino prosegue verso Castromaior, antico insediamento Romano. A seguire attraverseremo Toxibo, Hospital Da Cruz e Ventas de Naron, fino ad arrivare ad Alto de Ligonde, importante villaggio giacobeo dove si trova il cimitero dei Pellegrini. Iniziamo a discendere ed arriviamo a Os Lameiros e ad Eirexe, con la sua particolare Chiesa dai bassorilievi enigmatici e misteriosi di origine celtica. Passando il paese di Avenostre, arriviamo a Palas do Rei, nominata nel Codex Calixtinus come Pallatium Regis. 


4° GIORNO: PALAS DO REI – MELIDE (15 km)

Al mattino partiamo a piedi per il Campo dos Romeiros, attraversiamo la Comarca de A Ulloa, e potremo vedere un tipico “Pazo” ed un Castello. Continuiamo per il villaggio di Leboreiro, che i Romani chiamavano Campus Leporarius per la grande quantità di lepri. Vedremo il Portico della Chiesa della Virgen de Las Nieves. Poi scenderemo lungo il fiume Furelos, attraversando l’omonimo ponte. Arriviamo così a Melide, antico insediamento de “castros celtas” (villaggi fortificati) e megaliti, dove vedremo inoltre La Pedra de Raposo e la Chiesa de Santa Maria. 


5° GIORNO: MELIDE – ARZUA – O ́PEDROUZO (30 Km)

Al mattino partiremo verso Boente, dove si trova una piccola Chiesa dedicata a Santiago. Proseguendo fino a Castañeda troveremo il ”Caserio de Ribadisio da Baixo” e arriveremo ad Arzua nota per i resti dell’ antico “Convento de los Agustinos” e costruita in onore della Maddalena. A seguire passeremo per Salceda, Santa Irene, Carballal e Pomariño, e dopo aver attraversato il fiume Iso arriveremo a O´Pedrouzo.


6° GIORNO: O ́PEDROUZO – LAVACOLLA – MONTE DO GOZO – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (22 Km)

Partenza al mattino, e lungo il tragitto si inizierà ad avvertire la vicinanza della meta di fronte alla cima del Pico Sacro, dove oggi si trova un Convento Agostiniano. Il Cammino trascorre tra i villaggi di Calzada, Calle, Ferreiros, Salceda, Brea e Santa Irene raggiungendo O Pino, ultima tappa prima dell’arrivo a Santiago. Passeremo per Lavacolla, l’antica Lavamentula del Codex Calixtinus de Aymeric Picaud. Il percorso prosegue fino al Monte Do Gozo, una delle sette Colline Magiche dal Cammino. Dalle Cappelle di San Marcos e San Lazaro discenderemo fino alla città di Santiago de Compostela.


7° GIORNO: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Giornata dedicata alla scoperta della città. Giorno libero per visitare la Piazza del Obradoiro con il Parador Nacional e la Cattedrale, caratterizzata dal suo noto Portico della Gloria, dal Botafumeiro, dal Busto dell’Apostolo di Santiago, oltre all’arca con i resti del santo. Consigliamo anche passeggiare per il mercato cittadino con i suoi banchi di pesce e crostacei. 


8° GIORNO: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – APT SANTIAGO

Prima colazione Buffet e trasferimento in APT Santiago in tempo utile per la partenza.
