ITINERARY:

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA 

How exciting it is to arrive in Lima! Our team will meet you at the Jorge Chávez airport and take you to your hotel. Accommodation in Lima.

DAY 02: CITY TOUR COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Between 09:15 and 09:45, or between 14:15 and 14:45, you will be picked up from the hotel. First, we will make a panoramic visit to the enigmatic Huaca Pucllana, where the ancient ruins transport us to past times of the Ichma and Lima culture. Then, we cross the olive grove of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado, enjoying the views of the Palace of Justice, the historic Museum of Art of Lima and the vibrant Plaza San Martín. In the Plaza de Armas, in a panoramic view we immerse ourselves in the history exploring the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace, then we headed to the sacred Convent of San Francisco. Here, the catacombs reveal an underground labyrinth that holds the remains of more than 25,000 souls, taking us on a journey to Lima's past. Finally, we end the day with a spectacular view of the Parque del Amor, Larcomar and the Pacific Ocean. While the Lima sunset paints the sky, we feel the sea breeze and the beauty of the city, before returning to the hotel. Accommodation in Lima.

DAY 03: LIMA / AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR MONASTERY OF SANTA CATALINA (B)

Breakfast.

Appropriate time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Arequipa. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and rest.

2:00 p.m. The visit to the White City of Arequipa will begin, visiting the Plaza de Armas, which presents a beautiful bronze fountain with three plates crowned with the figure of a 16th century soldier. Here, you will appreciate the Cathedral and the Cloisters of the Company of Jesus. Next you will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, this was an absolutely closed center which was closed for centuries to the public, today, harmoniously restored and open, it allows you to appreciate what the city of Arequipa was in the 17th century, you will see its streets , gardens, cloisters, rustic stone laundries, ashlar walls and its art gallery, you will then move to the beautiful and green countryside of Carmen Alto and the Yanahuara Viewpoint where you will have a privileged view of the city and the volcanoes such as Misti. , Pichupichu and Chachani.

DAY 04: AREQUIPA / CHIVAY - COLCA CANYON (B)

Breakfast.

Pick up from the hotel and departure from Arequipa via Yura, passing through the foothills of Chachani, Pampa de Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve where the slender vicuña can be seen, continuing through Vizcachani, Pampas de Toccra where a variety of birds can be observed, then bordering the Chucura crater to reach Patapampa (4,800 meters above sea level) and Mirador de los Andes where you can see the volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa. Descent to the town of Chivay for lunch (at the expense of the passenger). Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 05: COLCA CANYON / PUNO (B)

Breakfast.

Very early, you will head towards the Cruz del Cóndor (41 km from Chivay), a place where you can see one of the most spectacular places in the Canyon and you can almost always see the condors in masterful flights. You will appreciate the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque and the Miradores de Antahuilque and Choquetico. Return to Chivay, after lunch (at the expense of the passenger) you will leave for the city of Puno along the same route as the first day, taking the detour in Patahuasi (from this place the road is completely paved to the city of Puno). On the way you can see different Andean landscapes, such as stone forests, immense lagoons with a variety of birds, small hamlets in the area, the towns of Imata, Santa Lucia and the city of Juliaca. After six hours of travel you will arrive in Puno. Transfer to the indicated hotel.

DAY 06: UROS & TAQUILE ISLAND (B,L)

Breakfast.

07:00 hrs Transfer to the port of Puno, where the lake crossing will begin in a very fast boat, you will quickly arrive at the Floating Island of the Uros which is a set of floating islands formed from reeds. They are inhabited by the Uros, settlers who descend from one of the oldest cultures in America. You will be able to appreciate their peculiar lifestyle and their creations such as making wool fabrics and stuffed animals. Next, you will visit Taquile Island, also have some time exploring and shopping in the community.

In the afternoon, return to Puno.

DAY 07: PUNO - CUSCO / ROUTE OF THE SUN (B,L)

Breakfast.

7:00 hrs Departure by tourist bus to the city of Cusco, on this journey you will visit some important attractions such as the Lithical Museum of Pukara, in this museum you will find the famous sculpture of HATUNÑAQAC which in our times would be translated as the supreme cutthroat. Then, you will visit the Raya Pass, which is the border between the cities of Cusco and Puno, then you will make a stop to enjoy the delicious lunch. You will return to the bus to continue the visit to the archaeological complex of Raqchi, also known as the temple of the God Wiracocha. Finally, you will visit the Andahuaylillas chapel, known for the beauty of its murals inside.

17:00 hrs Arrival at the bus station in Cusco.

DAY 08: CUSCO CITY TOUR – ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK (B)

Breakfast.

At 12:30 hrs we will begin our tour of the City of Cusco. We will visit the Plaza Mayor where most of the buildings preserve the colonial style. Then we will visit the Qoricancha Temple, the maximum expression of Inca architecture, currently the Convent of Santo Domingo. Next we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, characterized by its Renaissance and colonial style. Finally we will visit the four archaeological centers surrounding Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to your hotel.

DAY 09: MACHU PICCHU (B,L)

Breakfast. We will go to the Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station according to the season, where we will depart by train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at the station in the town of Machu Picchu, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend through an intricate path, giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial enclosures and urban areas. The energy emanating from all over the place. After a guided tour, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. At the appropriate time, we will take the train to take us to Ollantaytambo and then move to the city of Cusco.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE FROM CUSCO (B)
