DAY 01: CUSCO IN - VISITING THE CITY OF CUSCO AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

Reception and transfer to selected hotel. At 12:00 p.m. we will begin our visit to the city of Cusco and its surroundings.

Firstly, we will go to the Archaeological Park to enter Sacsayhuamán, considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and the Qenqo astronomical observatory, we will continue with the visit to the Plaza Mayor where most of the buildings preserve the colonial style, we will visit the Cathedral and finally the Temple of Qoricancha, the maximum expression of Inca architecture, currently the Convent of Santo Domingo. Return to your hotel.


DAY 02: SUPER VALLEY

In this more extensive tour we take a walk through all the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Starting from your hotel between 6:30 to 7:00 am, we travel to Chinchero, ancestral town of the Incas, where we will see the royal hacienda of Inca Tupac Yupanqui, and the colonial plaza and temple. We continue to Moray to visit the Inca agricultural research center, with its impressive circular platforms. From there to the old Maras salt mine, a visually unique and ideal place to practice photography. Going down to the beautiful Sacred Valley, we will have lunch at a buffet-style restaurant in the town of Urubamba. Bordering the river of the same name, we arrive at the ancient citadel of Ollantaytambo, with its imposing fortress and its incomparable canals, great walls and temples, wonderful examples of Inca architecture.

Towards the end of the tour we will be in Pisac, an architectural complex of enormous terraces and finely finished stone temples, another jewel of the Inca civilization. In the Pisac market you can admire the best of Cusco crafts. We return to your hotel in Cusco at the end of a day of wonderful experiences.


DAY 03: MACHU PICCHU

Very early we will move to the train station to go to Aguas Calientes, the town where the ascent to Machu Picchu begins. We will take buses to the top for a guided tour of the citadel for 2 hours. We will observe the agricultural area, the urban sector, the temple of the sun, the stone quarries, the botanical garden, the Plaza of the Temples, the three windows, the sundial or intihuatana, the sacred rock, among others. We will also have free time to appreciate the majestic place and take photographs. After the tour we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, there we will enjoy a delicious lunch and then board our train back to the city. Return to your hotel in Cusco.


DAY 04: MOUNTAIN OF 7 COLORS – VINICUNCA

At 4:30 am, pick up passengers and transfer to the foothills of Nevado Ausangate to begin the walk to Vinicunca, Montaña 7 Colores. We will make a stop in the town of Cusipata to have breakfast. After a brief talk we will begin the 3-hour walk with a professional guide. Along the way we will learn about the different customs and mysticism that the Andean mountain range hides. On the way back we will return to the town of Cusipata for the respective lunch. Return to your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 p.m. Free night in the city.


DAY 05: HUMANTAY LAGOON

4:00 hrs to 4:30 hrs Start of tour and pick up from your respective hotel. With the guide, you will continue until you reach the town of Mollepata, where you will enjoy breakfast. Along the way you will reach Soraypampa, where you will have a short break and then continue with the walk to the Humantay Lagoon which is located at an altitude of 4250 meters above sea level. This climb lasts approximately 1hr30min. Upon reaching the Humantay lagoon you will have enough time to appreciate the majestic lagoon that nature offers us. Also, there will be a brief demonstration of payment to the land to the sacred Apus. At the appropriate time, you will return to Soraypampa and then to the town of Mollepata to enjoy lunch. Return to the city of Cusco, at approximately 6:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Transfer to your hotel.


DAY 06: SOUTH VALLEY

Breakfast at the hotel. 08:45 hrs Pick up from the hotel. Heading south of Cusco, you will see beautiful landscapes of the Andean Mountains. The first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipón, an Inka ceremonial center where the flow of water from the high peaks of the Pachatusan hill to the lowlands of the valley was controlled through a stone channel. Later you will visit the Pikillaqta Archaeological complex, which means "city of fleas." It is an ancient walled citadel and one of the most important regional centers of the Wari Empire, in its expansion towards the city of Cusco. Finally, the journey will conclude by visiting the beautiful Church of Andahuaylillas, a small jewel of the Colonial period, known as 'The Sistine of America', inside which there is an impressive collection of Canvases with frames bathed in gold leaf and mural paintings, baroque altarpieces , and more. 2:30 p.m. Return to Cusco. Overnight.


DAY 07: CUSCO OUT

Breakfast at the hotel and free morning to explore the city of Cusco. At the coordinated time, transfer to the airport to board your flight.
