Tunis: Tunisia’s laid-back capital boasts beautiful Islamic architecture and neighbours the famous ruins of Carthage.
Sidi Bou Said: A Mediterranean dreamland, this town is full of white walls and beautifully blue-accented doors and windows along with endless views of the Mediterranean.
Kairouan: Founded in the seventh century, Kairouan is considered the Islamic capital of Tunisia.
Tozeur: The desert town is a gateway to mountain oasis and desert adventures.
Hammamet: This seaside town is known for its beach resorts and laid back vacation attitude.
Day 1: ENFIDHA OR TUNIS – SOUSSE (140km – 2hrs / 50km – 45min)
Upon your arrival at the airport of Enfidha or Tunis, you will be greeted and assisted by our airport staff and your driver. Enjoy a comfortable ride to the hotel. We recommend arriving early to enjoy some free time in Sousse, known for its Medina and old port, as well as its leisure harbour Port El Kantaoui. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: SOUSSE – KAIROUAN – TOZEUR (360km – 5hr)
At 8:00 am, your guide will meet you at the reception of the hotel, where he will give you a briefing about this first day of the tour and then direct you to your tour vehicle where you will ride for an hour before you arrive in the Capital of Islam the city of Kairouan. At your arrival, your guide will walk you through the old Medina of Kairouan to the Great Mosque of Kairouan, located in the middle of the Medina and built by the Arab general Uqba Ibn Nafi in 670 AD. The site attracts thousands of local and international visitors for its magnificent architectural and spiritual value. The next visit is to the Aghlabid water site, where two large basins and a few cisterns have survived the centuries after they have served during decades of scarce drinking water resources. Lunch will be in the city of Gafsa, which is on the way to the southern city of Tozeur, the city of Palm trees (included). Before you check in your hotel of stay, you will hop on a 4x4 to discover the oasis, where you will drive through the desert and the occasional dry salt lakes to arrive at the mountain oasis of Chebika. On the way back to Tozeur, you will make a stop at the site of the Star Wars movie located in the middle of the Sahara Desert, which is only a couple of minutes from Tozeur, so you might get lucky and catch the sunset there!. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: TOZEUR – CHOTT DJERID – DOUZ – MATMATA – EL DJEM – SOUSSE (450km – 5hrs)
This third day is a busy one where you have visited five exciting locations. After breakfast and on the way out of Tozeur, you will visit the downtown of the small city and spot the different architectural style on the facades of the houses. Afterwards, you will ride through the biggest Salt Lake in the country, Chott Djerid, with an outstanding never-ending view of white and sometimes pink mirages. Upon your arrival to Douz, also called the Gate of the Sahara, you will enjoy the sight of sand hovering over the south side of the city. After that, you will head to Matmata. This area contains one of the best-preserved, still habituated, troglodytes’ houses, carved by Tunisian Berbers in the middle of the ground. A second site of the Star Wars movie is also open for visitors in Matmata. After lunch, the next stop is at the village of El Djem, home of the Roman amphitheatre of El Djem, the second largest Roman Amphitheatre, built around 18 centuries ago, and still, today exceptionally well preserved. The site was mainly used for spectator events, namely gladiator battles. After El Djem, you will continue to Sousse, where you will spend the night. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: SOUSSE – TUNIS – BARDO – CARTHAGE – SIDI BOUSAID – HAMMAMET (230km – 3hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel. This day starts with the transfer to Tunis, where you will start with a walking tour across the Medina of Tunis. Free time will be provided to roam on your own. The next stop will be at the National Museum of Bardo, renowned for its rich collection of Mosaics and location on an old Beylical castle in the middle of the old city of Tunis. Lunch will be in La Goulette, which is on the way to your next visit location, the ruins of Carthage, located on a magnificent coastline (included). Although the ancient city was destroyed by the Romans, it still nowadays features excavations of homes, baths and sewage systems. The other significant site in the area is the Amphitheatre of Carthage, built towards the 1st century and later rebuilt by the Romans. The theatre today hosts some 30000 visitors at the yearly International Music Festival of Carthage. Last but not least, make your way to the picturesque Sidi Bousaid. The village is known for its white walls and blue windows and doors, and a dazzling view of the Mediterranean Sea, at an altitude of over 100 meters high. At the end of the day, and on your way to Hammamet where you will spend the next four days at leisure, you will make a stop at the Golf of Yasmine for a Tunisian wine tasting. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: HAMMAMET
Recharge your energies with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before enjoying a slow day of rest and relaxation on an all-inclusive basis. Enjoy the many facilities of the hotel and of course the direct access to the beach.

Delight in a tasty breakfast at the hotel, and have a full day of relaxation beside the Mediterranean Sea.

Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight time, you will be picked up at the reception of the hotel and transferred directly to the airport of your departure where you will be assisted by our staff.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Tunisia, though a warm jumper and jacket are advisable in the cooler months. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
